Electroluminescent Technology

BACK

Electroluminescent technologyElectroluminescent technology, or EL, is ‘paper thin,’ flexible, durable, energy efficient lighting source. Available as sheets, panels, strips or simply cut to any size or shape. From Point of Sale Shelf talkers, exhibition panels to Bill Boards, W&Co can apply this revolutionary lighting display solution to meet your project requirements.

Any artwork can be illuminated and/or animated to your specifications. The EL panels can be customised to light up in any size, shape, colour or sequence. The potential of electroluminescence is so vast across such a broad range of applications that your imagination is the only limit.

Electroluminescent lighting can be used as a perfect sales tool for any in-store promotion. Stores have never before had the opportunity to bring animation and illumination to their posters and sales stands so effectively. Whether EL is used in stores as Retail Point of Purchase, as exhibition lighting, as shop window displays or as outdoor media advertising; animated electroluminescent sheets will bring huge attention to your brand or sales message. Electroluminescence can be applied to any artwork, from a simple sales sign to more intricate photographic designs.

Electroluminescent technologyMarket research has proven that illumination of advertisements and sales messages dramatically increases not only foot-fall but also sales. Electroluminescent technology combines the illumination with colour and movement yet maintaining the constant advertising message – the most successful form of visual advertising. The application of electroluminescent lighting allows retailers and exhibitors to create bright, colourful and animated Point of Sale display, at low cost.

Cost savings don’t stop there. Working on only 12V electricity means the electroluminescent displays only uses 75-90% less power than standard forms of lighting. They last for over 10,000 hours 2-3 times longer than traditional lighting applications. Being durable, robust, impact resistant, reliable and waterproof they are also maintenance free. Being flexible, lightweight they are very easy to install.

Electroluminescent technologyW&Co now produce the World's Thinnest Light Box or the ultimate illuminated poster frame. Our paper thin electroluminescent panels are produced in high bright white sheets and simply slip behind your printed media to illuminate your artwork. These panels come in a range of standard sizes, and can also be produced bespoke to your requirements. EL poster frames are an ideal alternative to traditional light boxes, illuminated signs and neon lights. Electroluminescent signs give the equivalent lighting effect as a conventional Light Box but with the benefit of being able animate specific parts of the graphic.

Electroluminescent technologyProduct Integration.
W&Co likes to think outside the box and there are many different opportunities for manufacturers to incorporate EL into their existing products. Our experienced sales and design teams can work with you produce innovative products that will set you apart from your competitors.
