Fabric face frameless light boxes have been developed for large illuminated display applications within the retail environment with high impact and versatility in mind.
Fabric face light boxes can be made up to huge sizes in one continuous piece, covering the whole of a shop wall with an illuminated graphic if desired. These retail display light boxes can also be custom made to go around corners or even with curved faces for fitting around circular columns in-store.
The fabric face light box has one of the easiest graphic changes available as the fabric print has a silicone rubber strip stitched to the edge which simply pushes into a channel around the edges of the aluminium profile frame.
Another advantage of the fabric face light box is that it is completely front loading, with no side or rear access of the box required to change the graphics or for potential maintenance. This means that the light box can be fully flush recessed into a wall, so it does not take up any space and offers an aesthetically pleasing finish to a shop fit out.
The material which the graphic is printed on is made from a flexible fabric that stretches tight over the face of the light box frame. The high quality display graphic is printed to the fabric using a dye sublimation process, which allows the inks to stretch with the fabric. The fabric print has a non-reflective finish so it does not suffer from the glare of shop lights and can even be washed if required.
To ensure the highest level of even light distribution across the graphic, the material used has an opal backing integrated into the fabric, which gives one of the most even light distributions of any backlit light box.
The actual lighting for this illuminated sign is backlit and can be generated using either traditional fluorescent tubes or energy efficient LEDs.
The other major benefit of fabric face light boxes is that they are essentially frameless; a complete edge-to-edge illuminated printed area, ensuring the promotional graphic has the highest impact on the viewing customer.
