World renowned car manufacturer Honda were looking for a unique and innovative product to display A0 posters at an elaborate launch of the 2007 Honda automobile range from the Civic Type-R to the CRV 4x4. Having contacted us regarding the use of electroluminescent (EL) animated poster displays, we were very excited to work with their marketing team to produce a range of super bright EL panels which were sequenced to flash the lettering of the car names and a picture of the cars themselves. Honda were extremely pleased with the panels which were mounted into white powder coated aluminium poster frames giving them a clean professional finish. Not only are these panels less than 2mm thick, but they are also 70-90% more energy efficient than traditional illuminated display and light box applications. Is this the future of illuminated retail displays?
