The Katana ultra slim light box unit is a very stylish and modern looking illuminated sign which is manufactured to the highest quality (EU approved,  certified). It is so slimline it can be referred to as an illuminated poster frame or a light panel. These prestigious display light boxes have an aluminium front loading snap frame, like a poster frame, enabling quick and easy poster change. To allow the ultra thin light box to be so slimline it is edge-lit, utilising long-life, high-output, pencil-thin T5 fluorescent tubes; which illuminate the Elit acrylic sheet from the side. The T5 lamps not only last longer than traditional tubes, but they also more energy efficient; significantly reducing running costs. They have fantastically even distribution of illumination which has been calculated using a formula for light diffusion. The overall depth of this sleek light box sign is only 35-37mm when single-sided or 44-46mm when double-sided. The Katana ultra thin light box is available from stock in standard poster sizes (A3, A2, A1 and A0) and is also available as double-sided and custom sizes up to 1800mm x 1200mm on request.

* Philips T5 Daylight tubes have an average lifetime of 20,000 hours. These tubes can be purchased at most local hardware stores and are easily replaceable within the light box, unlike Cold Cathode or LED light boxes.
