W&Co were invited to create a visual display with our display light boxes at the London Aquarium on the South Bank. Its section for South American fish is sponsored by 'Survival', the charity for tribal people throughout the world. W&Co produced six illuminated display units 2 metres wide by 1 metre high for this area. We scanned their 35mm slides and enlarged them up to to create the backlit prints to fit the light boxes. Our installation teams carefully and sensitively installed the light boxes amongst the internal foliage to enhance awareness of the plight of the indigenous people of the Amazonian Rainforests. |
