New Sign Letters Suit Stock Brook to a Tee
New flat cut polished gold sign letters and 'tree' logo were produced for Stock Brook Manor Country Club in Billericay, Essex offering a stunning visual impact at the entrance to the golf and leisure activities complex.
The existing outdoor signage had become worn over time and so the client's brief was to refresh the main entrance with a brand new sign with a premium look and with a quality that would last for years to come. In view of this W&Co's design and sales team worked closely with the end client to deliver a balance of high quality materials while keeping the costs as economical as possible.
Measurements were taken at a site survey and then W&Co's graphic and 3D visualisation department produced various 3D visual renders, which were developed with feedback from the client until the final signage layout was approved by the client prior to fabrication.
The original sign was built up letters which had over time started to degrade, so it was important a new durable material was used that was high quality and longer lasting. Stock Brook Manor looked at various samples of metal materials suitable for external signage, and finally chose the premium quality mirror finish of Rimmex Prestige Polished Gold stainless steel for their sign letters.
Following approval of the manufacturing drawings W&Co fabricated the signage to suit the 3.6 metre width of the wall using 1.5mm thick polished gold stainless steel with welded brass locator fixings mounted to the rear.
During the design process it was proposed that the client rendered the brick wall and painted it in the same cream colour as some of their other rendered walls and buildings; firstly to make it suitable for the signage to be mounted to, and secondly to increase the contrast of sign colour and wall to make it really stand out.
Finally the flat cut signage letters and flat cut tree logo were installed onsite by one of W&Co's dedicated and highly experienced installation teams and the client expressed how very happy they were with the finished results.
