Swiss Lachs Pure Alpine Salmon Farm

Large Scale Signs for Swiss Salmon Farm

W&Co was privileged to have been selected by Swiss Lachs to supply them with a full set of super size halo illuminated sign letters to mount to the exterior facade of their impressive 40m wooden clad farm building which backs onto the stunning scenery of the Swiss Alps.

Swiss Alpine Fish AG breeds fish in Lostallo, a beautiful and untouched corner in Misox, the Italian-speaking part of Graubünden, Switzerland. Founded in 2014, their Recirculating Aquaculture System is one of the cleanest and most sustainable fish farms in the world.

The brief was to have very large halo illuminated letters that would be seen from as far away as possible to ensure their presence was noticed by passing traffic.

The supplied individual built up letters were manufactured from aluminium at 1500mm in height while their central salmon logo design was built to a massive 3000mm high to ensure maximum visibility of their complex from the main road. The 3D lettering was painted black with opal acrylic to the rear for nice and even halo illumination from the high bright white LEDs.

In addition to the main building sign letters we have supplied the farm with a series of way finding post and panel signs adorned with their salmon logo and some matching lettering for their small "SHOP" which sits next to the main farm unit. We are currently in the process of supplying some extra sign elements for the charming shop to show when they are open / closed for business.

W&Co was delighted that the signage supplied to Swiss Lachs was commended at the BSGA Sign Awards 2017 in the category of "Illuminated Sign of the Year."

CEO Julian Connor commented: "Thanks for your excellent signs. They look great and can be seen for miles!"
