Project Description

Skyborne Aviation DV-LED Screens

Skyborne Aviation Limited, the world’s premier pilot training academy, needed to acquire some large digital screens for their training facility at Gloucester Airport. So they contacted W&Co about their wide range of digital signage solutions.

The client’s multi-million-pound aircraft hangar needed reliable, high brightness and large digital screens to help teach trainee pilots how to fly aeroplanes.

W&Co ascertained that digital Direct View LED (DV LED) screens would be the ideal solution. The large size needed could be achieved by tiling the individual modules together to make one large and seamless display area.

The overall size of the digital display constructed for Skyborne was 3.8m x 1.9m made up of 24 x Modular Cabinets in a 6×4 matrix, which enabled the trainee pilots to see the instructional videos and slides clearly and easily from afar and every viewing angle.

W&Co was able to support the client during every step of the process, including carrying out a site survey and installing and setting up the DV LED digital display on site. W&Co’s ‘one-stop’ capabilities in the digital signage field also enabled us to assist with the client’s additional requirements for a PA system. This was to complement the visual display and it was all needed to be installed at the same time as the digital screen.

Skyborne was very happy with the end result and the Direct View LED digital signage screens suited their requirements perfectly. They were pleased with how willing we are to help at every stage of a project and go the extra mile.
