Description
The Onyx outdoor poster case is a high end and extremely effective illuminated outdoor advertising system with hinge opening, lockable front cover and integral toughened glass fascia. These LED illuminated poster cases are only 57mm deep so it is one of the thinnest outdoor illuminated poster cases available for its larger sizes. It can be produced this slim because it utilises LED light panels to evenly back light the promotional prints.
The hinge opening front cover of the poster case is lockable, making it secure while also enabling quick and easy graphic change via a special opening key. To assist the opening of the front cover, with its toughened glass panel, it is fitted with two gas struts either side of the poster hidden behind the screen printed borders.
When the front cover is closed it is water tight thanks to inner gaskets and it has achieved a high IP66 waterproof rating. There is an internal power switch for extra security and safety when changing graphics. These special features make the Onyx LED poster case not just prestigious, but also one of the safest and most secure light box cases available.
The Onyx outdoor led light box is the ultimate illuminated display for outdoor advertising applications so are often seen in locations such as: shopping centres, petrol stations, nightclubs, car parks, bus shelters, railway stations, high streets and town centres.
These illuminated advertising cases are most popular in 6 sheet size to suit standard Out-of-Home (OOH) and/or outdoor advertising applications, however, they are also available in 4-Sheet and A0 poster sizes in portrait, or in a F12 Landscape format.
The outdoor poster cases are generally single sided for wall mounting, however, they can be made back to back and ground fixed and clad to make a monolith style advertising unit.
The frame and screen printed borders of the poster case comes in black as standard, however, it can also be to various other colours for quantity orders.

- Overview: Premium outdoor LED light panel illuminated poster case with a sleek clear toughened glass front fascia panel with printed block out borders. The front cover is unlocked at the bottom with a special security key and hinges open easily assisted by 2 gas cylinders which support the door while you change the poster. Fully secure, watertight and robust. Available as single sided for wall mounting or as ground fixed mounted back to back on steel posts (with or without cladding at the base).
- Poster Dimensions: A0 Portrait (841mm x 1189mm), 4 Sheet Portrait (1016mm x 1524mm), 6 Sheet Portrait (1750mm x 1187mm), F12 Landscape (2685mm x 1280mm).
- Depth: only 57mm deep.
- Front panel: 5mm toughened safety glass, with an 80mm screen printed border. Black as standard, other colours available for quantities upon request.
- Back Panel: 1mm aluminium sheet, powder coated white on the inside for optimal light reflection.
- Lighting panel: 10mm thick LED light panel.
- Poster Fixing: Internal snap frame profile at the top of the poster case.
- Illumination: High bright white LEDs with an average expected lifetime of over 50,000 hours.
- Frame Colour: Black as standard. Powder coated to a standard RAL colour for quantities upon request.
- IP Rating: IP66 – Water resistant. Totally protected against dust. Protected against strong jets of water – limited ingress permitted. NB the case is water resistant not waterproof, some condensation may occur, ensure the print used is waterproof.

Advisory Notes:
This product is weather resistant but not waterproof. Due to changes in atmospheric humidity and water vapour in the air, condensation can occur in any poster case or notice board, similar to the inside of a car window, especially when changing the posters. If condensation does occur, simply air out the poster case (when weather is dry) to ensure moisture is evaporated.
Posters should be sealed to prevent prints becoming damaged if they come into contact with moisture or condensation.
When installing this product, ensure you mount to a flat and even surface and take care not to over tighten the fixings as you may distort the back panel and cause damage.
