Description
The Digital Self Service Touch Screen Kiosk is an automated self ordering system designed for the fast food sector but which can be used in a range of different retail environments.
The self service kiosk has multiple benefits. It enables your staff to focus on giving excellent customer service, it reduces queue sizes and waiting times and generally improves the overall customer shopping experience.
The Digital Self Service Touch Screen Kiosk is designed around a 27″ commercial grade PCAP Digital Touch Screen with a 10-point PCAP touch system that is suitable for 24/7 continuous use. It has a built in Intel Windows PC for use with third party POS software.
The kiosk is fronted by thermally toughened glass with a special anti-scratch 6H hardness coating which makes it very durable. The coating has the added benefit of reducing annoying reflections created by external light sources.
The built-in scanner utilises an LED light which makes reading easier and can also be used to place orders or to scan barcodes or QR codes in conjunction with special offers. The kiosk houses an inkless thermal printer which can print order receipts on a standard 80mm width till roll and can also be used to print promotional vouchers. There is also space to integrate a credit card payment reader (not supplied).
Tool-free maintenance is possible via the lockable front access door, allowing store staff to swap out and replace components without having to remove from the wall. The touch screen and barcode scanner are also recessed into the enclosure making them easy to wipe clean.
The kiosk can be securely mounted directly to the wall from inside the lockable door – providing an anti-theft flush fit. There is also an optional floor stand available on request when wall mounting is not possible.
